My cousin and I are experts at fancying things. Cooking is one of our interests. We usually hear people say "I don't like someone interrupting when I am cooking". But there is a good combo between us. Both of us would love to cook together. We split our works fairly. One should carve the vegetables and another should prepare the dough, one should wash vessels and another should clean the kitchen, one should put fritters in the oil and another should take out when it is done.
The best part is our home kitchen is a fun TV cooking show, and we play the roles of international chefs. Our drama begins there, our favourite roles are a junior chef and senior chef or anchor and chef or imitating our grandma's cooking style who has a typical village aunty's mannerism. We always fancy that there is a camera fixed in front of us, and we'd give step by step descriptions to the invisible audience. Sometimes we get negative outcomes too. This time we put blames on each other. But compliments from others come to blows between us, a healthy one. Sometimes our TV cooking show changes to a podcast show. One of our favourite podcast questions is:
Anchor: How did you reach this height in the culinary field?
Chef: It's all because of my hard work and dedication. Cooking is my passion from a young age and I could never imagine myself in any other field.
After answering this question, we hear chuckles and giggles from our family members who overhear our conversation.
Guess what happens after this?
Yes! A plan for our future business. It will be a food business. But we don't know exactly what it is, after all, it is a fantasy. It changes according to our mood, sometimes a bakery shop or a restaurant,
or another time, it will be a confectionery shop. There are many other things that we imagine for the future. It may or may not happen, some imaginations could be fantasy which is impossible to occur. But there is always bliss in foreseeing the future. Stop worrying about the past, imagine and feel the bliss.
