Hello Rain! Don't stop! Go on!

Hello everyone!Hope you all are safe and healthy. As I am writing my very first blog on this page, I want this to be special. This blog is all about a beautiful realization of life.
At the start of this pandemic, I thought this pandemic locked me from all the happiness which I found outside my home. For a long time, I didn't realize the indeed contentment that we have is in our home and ourselves. As my family knew that the lockdown starts in two days, we left Chennai hastily and moved to our hometown. It's a small village with innocent people. They would always stand for each others welfare no matter what. My family has become a joint family from a neutral one. But this time all innocent people were scared to come close to us. They thought that we were carrying the coronavirus in our bags from Chennai to throw it on them. Actually what they did was correct. Even in cities people are not serious about the virus and roaming around here and there. But these village folks are sensible. I think I am slightly moving out of the content, just to create awareness.
All days were monotonous, I thought I had nothing to do there. One day it started raining there, I was just watching it and I was not enjoying the rain instead it was quite annoying for me to mess up. The rain continued for the next day, my brother started to walk in the rain and got himself soaked. My mom didn't allow me to rain. She said, "you have less immune power and you will catch colds easily".The rain continued for the third day, this time I was trying to control myself from getting wet. As I was standing on my doorstep, I got big raindrops spattering on my face. There I lost my control and walked in the rain. I pulled two of my cousins and we started dancing, singing, running and what didn't we do? We usually hear people say "Rain, rain, go away".That day we shouted, "Hello rain! Don't stop! Go on!".That was the day I realized the pleasure of the rain.
Here, the realization is not only about the rain, it is about happiness that we find in little things. Real happiness is within ourselves. It is on the way we think and the way we handle things around us. We all have everything near us and we are searching for somewhere else.
From then every day we play something like cards, dumb charades, hide-and-seek together. We dance Zumba every day in the evening to maintain fitness. I started my diet and exercise plan. I started reading something every day for a few minutes. I have had many things to do then.
